Description of Menopause Test
With a menopause test from Nordictest, you can independently take a urine sample (pee on a stick) that quickly and securely shows whether you have reached the last phase of menopause, postmenopause, or not.
At around 45 years of age, most women approach the phase in life called menopause or the transitional period. Common symptoms at this time include mood swings, hot flashes, sweating, difficulty sleeping, fragile mucous membranes in the genital area, and frequent urination.
This is due to the gradual decrease of the female sex hormone, estrogen, in the body. Our menopause test is very reliable and is also CE marked. The test measures Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) in urine at concentrations of 25 mIU/ml or higher. Additionally, the test has a reliability of 92.8%. A Swedish instruction leaflet is included in the package.
How to do it
- Dip the test stick into a cup of urine for 10-15 seconds.
- Then place the test stick on a non-absorbent flat surface. Read the result after 3 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
